Ovarian cancer risk among older patients with stable adnexal masses with Elizabeth (Betty) Suh-Burgmann

In this episode of the IJGC podcast, Editor-in-Chief Dr. Pedro Ramirez is joined by Dr. Elizabeth (Betty) Suh-Burgmann to discuss Ovarian cancer risk among older patients with stable adnexal masses.

Dr. Elizabeth (Betty) Suh-Burgmann, originally from Boulder, Colorado, earned her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and completed her medical degree and residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Following a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, she joined Kaiser Permanente in 2000. She is the Chair of Gynecologic Oncology for Kaiser Permanente Northern California, which provides care to approximately 4.4 million patients. She is the recipient of the 2022 Sidney Garfield Exceptional Contribution Award for her work establishing a standardized ultrasound ovarian cancer risk assessment system within Kaiser. Her research interests include cancer and precancer of the uterus, borderline tumors of the ovary, ultrasound detection of ovarian cancer and cervical cancer screening.
